No Fleas on Us: Animal Shelter Tales

PublishAmerica is proud to present No Fleas on Us: Animal Shelter Tales by Linda C. Greenberg of Swampscott, Massachusetts.

“No Fleas on Us is about abandoned, abused, mutilated, neglected animals rescued into our no-kill shelter. We do not turn away the elderly, diabetic, disabled, deaf, blind, etc. The uniqueness of this book comes in the stories about what happens to these unfortunate creatures.”

Greenberg relates how she got involved, and gives readers a candid look behind the scenes: the shelter’s many struggles, policies, protocols, and how well they care and advocate for their animals. The variety of authentic animal stories throughout the book will keep the reader glued.

“This uplifting book is about my experiences in an extraordinary no-kill animal shelter. This tiny shelter is special because life-saving miracles happen there daily. There are not enough adjectives to express the enormous amount of generosity, kindness and good that takes place in this modest structure run completely by volunteers, twenty-four/seven.”

Linda and Louie GreenbergGreenberg is a wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother of six grandchildren, and a volunteer. She is sixty-six years young, a homemaker, and has lived in her quaint little New England home for forty-six years. She has been adoption coordinator at the shelter for sixteen years.
