Zeke
Domestic Shorthair, tabby-gray mix
Size: Medium
Age: Adult
Sex: Male
Zeke is a male gray tabby who is a spunky, talkative fellow. He is thought to be 3 years old. Late last summer, because of the high number of animals being surrendered at the kill-shelter where he was, Zeke was in immediate danger of being put to sleep. He was rescued when someone learned of his plight and has been in foster care for several months, during which he has shared a room with other cats. He may do best in a home where he is the only cat as he sometimes picks on cats that are more docile. He has had bouts with itchy skin, which we believe could be a food allergy. He is doing well on a diet that doesn’t contain a lot of grain. He is eager for someone to spend more time with him. He does like to play, although he can play rough, so he wouldn’t be a good match for a home with small children. He is up to date on his vaccinations, tested negative for FIV and FeLV and is altered.
Zeke is house trained, up to date with routine shots and altered.
Zeke is presently in foster care waiting for a spot in the shelter. The shelter can put you in touch with the foster home. If you are interested in Zeke,
fill out an adoption application and you will be contacted.
