Gordon

Domestic Medium Hair–black mix
Size: Medium
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Gordon is a robust 9 year old boy weighing in at 17 pounds. He and his housemate were left at a vet’s office because his family no longer wanted to care for them. His housemate was found to have diabetes and is staying at the vet’s office, but Gordon is healthy (currently maintaining his weight on a reduced-calorie diet) and so it should be easy to find a home where he will be appreciated. Although Gordon would probably much prefer to be the only cat in the household, he has lived with his housemate and has tolerated other cats in his foster home. He might do OK in a household that already has an animal living there. He is declawed and should be placed in a home without children. He loves to have his all-black coat brushed and petted. Gordon is very willing to talk to you and follow you around when called. This cat will make a great companion and will quickly show his appreciation for allowing him into your life.

Gordon is up to date with routine shots, house trained, and altered.

You can meet Gordon at the Marblehead Animal Shelter, 44 Village Street, on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays from 4 pm to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 12 noon to 3 pm. For more information, call 781 631-8664.
