Fredo
Domestic Shorthair, tabby mix
Size: Medium
Age: Adult
Sex: Male
Fredo is a very handsome and stately male tabby cat who is looking for a person or family to adopt him. He is easygoing and affectionate, rubbing his head all over a person to show he appreciates living indoors now. He was rescued off the street in Marblehead in the fall of 2009 after several months on his own. He was a sorry looking soul at that time — very thin and loosing his coat. A couple took him in and brought him back to health — determining he had a food allergy. Fredo needs to avoid grain in his diet. Because the couple was not home a lot to give Fredo attention, they surrendered him to the shelter, hoping another family could provide him a better home. While living with the couple, he got along with dogs and probably will do fine with cats as well. Fredo tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
He is in foster care now, waiting for an open cage. Please call the animal shelter at
781-631-8664 to arrange a meeting; he is a spectacular feline. You may also
fill out an adoption application and you will be contacted.
Fredo is up to date with routine shots, house trained and neutered.
