$100,000 Shelter+ Challenge

First, we want to say “Congratulations” to Mansfield Animal Shelter, who won the top prize for Massachusetts. But we also want to say “Congratulations” to FOMAA since we were 7th in Massachusetts as of the closing date of Dec. 19th! We think that’s a great finish to be in the top 10 in our state our first year in the contest and being up against larger and more influential organizations! Though we didn’t win a financial prize, we did succeed in getting more pubicity for the shelter, which hopefully resulted in more donations and adoptions! So that makes us a winner too. Thank you to all the volunteers, family, friends, etc. who took the time to vote for us every day through the course of the contest, as well as those who spread the word getting others to vote for us too. Great job!
